Congratulations to our classmate, Jake for being our Catholic Leader for the month of November.
Attention: All children can wear their blue ribbon shirts every Friday for the rest of the year to celebrate SKD!! Please do not wear them on First Fridays as we will be attending mass with our school community.
We had a wonderful week in Pre-K ! The excitement is building!!!!! The children enjoyed making special projects to decorate our classroom and hallway. Our beautiful Nativity Scene was a group effort as each child chose a different part to color. Our reindeer are a big hit as students pass by our room. Thanks to Miss Casey's creative efforts the children have been transformed into Rudolph. Our Religion lesson introduced us to Advent as a time of waiting for Jesus' birth. We will touch on that theme each Monday as a new candle is added to our wreath.
Next weeks Religion lesson will be I Can Smile which is easy to do in this fun classroom during this jolly time of year!
Our elf on the shelf has arrived!! We are learning to not touch him/her so that the magic is not lost.
Look for your child's own advent wreath that will come home soon. The children are adding a candle each week as they learn our special Advent Poem.
