Support SKD and come to the Gala in April. It promises to be an amazing time as we go back in time to the 80's !! Hope to see you all there!! If you are unable to attend, please support with a monetary donation or by giving an item that could be used for the raffle baskets. All support is appreciated and will help to make it a great success!!
All children can wear their blue ribbon shirts every Friday for the rest of the year to celebrate SKD !! Please do not wear them on First Fridays as we will be attending mass with our school community.
The children continue to perform kind acts in our classroom and have been coloring our butterfly. Our butterfly is becoming more colorful each day. The children enjoyed learning about our I Can Work Unit. The highlight of our week was celebrating the feast of St. Joseph by having our Dads come and visit us for Donuts with Dad. It was a nice celebration and great way to start our day. We finished our shape unit this week by making shape turtles and coloring shapes on a turtle. Both projects are in our hallway for all to see. Next week, we will begin our Alphabet unit. A letter will come home explaining this unit as it is packed with fun. We will learn three letters a week.
In Religion, we will focus on the I Can Make Things unit. The children will understand that God made everything and experience the satisfaction of making things.
